Role:
- Full time data scientist who can perform with autonomy
- This position will be responsible for building machine learning models, devising innovative statistical models for data analysis.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with other data scientists, engineers, project manager, product manager, and project sponsors
2. Analyzing, visualizing and communicating insights from the data
3. Validation of machine learning models
4. Maintaining a process to collect quality training data
5. Researching solutions to overcome data analytics challenges
6. Explore and develop new algorithms and/or techniques to slove a problem
7. Self manage and provide reports on progress
Requirements:
1. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Python
2. Experience of GCP products
3. Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, ideally including deep learning
4. Ability to be technical lead for a small team of engineers/data scientists, as well as to work independently; though always with someone else supervising/co-owner on key problems
5. Experience with planning, coordinating & managing at least 2~3 people in a team
6. Business level English

3. Business level Japanese or Mandarin
4. PhD or advanced degree in computer science or a related field
