Your responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to, the following:
Conduct research and develop novel video/image compression technologies.
Contribute innovative techniques to image/video coding standards.
Design, implement, and optimize image/video compression and processing algorithms tailored to various use cases.
Collaborate effectively with experts in hardware and software.
Deep understanding and strong experience in video coding standards, e.g. H.265/HEVC, H.266/VVC, AV1, or AV2.
In-depth knowledge of rate control, and video codec optimization.
Deep understanding and extensive experience in designing and optimizing neural networks.
Excellent software design, problem-solving, and debugging abilities, strong programming skills in C/C++.
Experience in image or video processing is a plus.
Familiarity with the latest advancements in machine learning, generative video technologies, and computer vision would be highly valued.
Excellent collaboration skills and strong written and verbal communication skills are also desirable.
