As a Data Engineer Senior Specialist you will be part of a centralized maintenance model through a hybrid resourcing plan with GOC to drive reliability, consistency, and efficient investment across the entire portfolio.

Position Responsibilities

• Partner with SDM for scope and access evaluation during the solution intake phase.

• Understand the solution in detail and assess any challenges during onboarding and knowledge transfer.

• Fix data issues, build dashboards, generate reports along with impact measurement.

• Provide L1 support to intake, triage, validate issues, and assign severity (P0-P3) based on the solution's pre-assigned Tier.

• Provide L2 support handling the bulk of common fixes and issues using runbooks and standardized procedures.

• Perform reactive/corrective maintenance by addressing failures after they have occurred with clear root cause analysis.

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to prevent failure, including system health checks.

• Utilize predictive maintenance strategies using data and monitoring (e.g., latency, error rates) to predict component failures.

• Take complete ownership of Solution Maintenance post 1-3 months of going live.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 4 - 6 years of experience Python, SQL, GCP, and Lookerstudio.

• Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to maintain high quality on repetitive tasks and detailed workflows.

• Excellent reading comprehension skills and comfort acting independently to follow detailed workflows and escalate when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable:

• Experience with PLX/Looker, MySQL, Spanner, and Django.

• Strong problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to pick up skills on a new tech-stack rapidly.

• Ability to interact professionally with all levels of internal stakeholders.

• Comfortable working in a tech environment.
