About This RoleWe’re a Germany-based startup building a forward-thinking, globally connected team. This role is offered through an Employer of Record (EOR) provider, ensuring full local compliance and benefits aligned with Indian standards.
Initially, the position is fully remote, with access to coworking options. Looking ahead to late 2026, we plan to expand our presence in India. We're looking for someone excited to grow with us — not just in code, but in culture. You’ll play an active role in shaping our future location, with full support from our core team — including a team member relocating to India to help build that foundation with you.
This role is ideal for someone who’s not only technically strong but eager to take ownership, help shape a new chapter, and be a bridge between teams. If you're looking for more than “just a remote job,” this might be for you.
Your focus will be on our AnyHand – a Robotic Device for Home-Based Hand Therapy. The device enables patients to perform intensive hand therapy sessions multiple times a day from the comfort of their own homes. It is regularly used with the aim of preventing contractures, improving range of motion, and reducing pain.
The device offers interactive and adaptive therapy programs, which will be tailored to the user’s needs and progress. This not only enhances therapeutic outcomes but also fosters patient motivation and independence in the recovery journey and helps them to stay committed to their therapy and achieve their goals.

Our story began with a participation at Jugend Forscht, a student science competition. There, Pascal presented a robotic hand that was actually intended for use in dangerous situations such as outer space. In order to develop a hand prosthesis from this in the next step, he sought a conversation with the leading hand surgeon and senior physician at the University Hospital in Mainz: Dr. Eric Hanke.
During the conversation with Dr. Hanke, our idea generator and founding father, it quickly became clear that an intelligent hand therapy device was much more urgently needed on the market than a hand prosthesis.
During the conceptualization Dominic joined Pascal. Together we started working on our first prototype. We received overwhelming feedback from therapists, doctors, and at a variety of competitions. This motivated us to found LIME medical GmbH and turn our ideas into reality.
Since then, the team has been growing and we are passionate about making lasting improvements to hand and movement therapy.
