Location: Remote (US or EU)
Salary: $160,000 – $240,000
Type: Full-time

The Role

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed technology company building core infrastructure for the future of digital finance. They are looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer to help design and scale the systems that power secure, high-performance blockchain wallet and financial applications.

This is a senior, hands-on role where you’ll work across blockchain integrations, indexing, smart contracts, and data pipelines, helping shape a platform used in real-world financial environments.

You’ll collaborate closely with product, research, and infrastructure teams to build reliable, secure and scalable blockchain services.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and implement blockchain indexers, data pipelines and integrations
  
  

• Develop and maintain smart contracts with a strong focus on security and performance
  
  

• Build APIs and services that expose on-chain data for wallets and financial apps
  
  

• Troubleshoot indexing issues and performance bottlenecks
  
  

• Improve monitoring, observability and CI/CD for blockchain services
  
  

• Work with product teams to prioritise new blockchain integrations
  
  

• Document systems and contribute to technical discussions
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years software engineering experience, including 2+ years in blockchain
  
  

• Strong TypeScript skills plus a systems language (Rust, Go or C++)
  
  

• Experience building blockchain indexers, explorers or core infrastructure
  
  

• Strong background in smart contract development and auditing
  
  

• Experience across multiple ecosystems (e.g. Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, private chains)
  
  

• Solid knowledge of databases and data pipelines
  
  

• Strong understanding of cryptography, security and consensus models
  
  

• Comfortable working in distributed, product-led teams
