Mutual of Omaha Mortgage seeks a dynamic Marketing Automation Manager to join our team. As a Marketing Automation Manager, you will own and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, SMS, phone, and direct mail — serving as the connective tissue between our marketing programs and Salesforce CRM.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and optimize automated marketing campaigns in Customer.io spanning email, SMS, triggered workflows, and lifecycle journeys
  • Design and execute multi-channel campaign strategies that coordinate messaging across email, outbound phone, SMS, and direct mail touchpoints
  • Own the integration and data sync between Customer.io and Salesforce, ensuring lead and contact data flows accurately and in real time
  • Build and maintain audience segments, suppression lists, and dynamic cohorts using CRM and behavioral data
  • Partner with Sales, Business Development, and Analytics teams to align automation efforts with pipeline goals and lead generation initiatives
  • Monitor deliverability, engagement metrics, and conversion rates — then act on what the data tells you
  • Manage direct mail campaign execution including list pulls, vendor coordination, and performance tracking
  • Develop and maintain campaign documentation, playbooks, and QA processes
  • Stay current on compliance requirements (TCPA, CAN-SPAM, state-level regulations) relevant to mortgage marketing communications

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing automation, preferably in financial services, mortgage, or lending
  • Deep working knowledge of Customer.io — building workflows, managing segments, configuring integrations, and troubleshooting
  • Heavy Salesforce experience (reports, flows, campaign objects, lead/contact management) — this is non-negotiable
  • Proven track record executing coordinated campaigns across email, SMS, phone, and direct mail
  • Strong understanding of data hygiene, list management, and CRM data architecture
  • Experience with A/B testing, conversion optimization, and campaign analytics
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks governing consumer financial marketing
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the mortgage or reverse mortgage industry
  • Familiarity with affiliate or lead generation marketing programs
  • Exposure to BI/analytics tools such as Power BI, Sigma, or Tableau
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Pardot

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$125,000 annually.
