About the Opportunity

We are a fast-growing innovator in the Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) sector, building secure, scalable blockchain solutions for enterprise applications across finance, supply chain, and IoT. Our teams architect core protocol components and smart contract frameworks that power decentralized platforms for EU-based and global clients. Join us to design and optimize low-level consensus mechanisms and on-chain data structures that deliver real-time trust and transparency.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement core blockchain modules, including consensus algorithms, P2P networking, transaction processing, and decentralized storage.
  • Develop, audit, and optimize smart contracts in Solidity and Vyper for security, gas efficiency, and upgradeability.
  • Integrate blockchain protocols with off-chain services and APIs, collaborating with backend and API teams.
  • Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and enforce best practices for code quality and security.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot node operations, and manage protocol upgrades and hard forks.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, whitepapers, and open-source initiatives within the blockchain community.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building core blockchain protocols or modules.
  • Strong programming skills in Go, Rust, C++, or Java for low-level system development.
  • Proficiency with Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, or other major DLT platforms.
  • Expertise in Solidity, Vyper, or similar smart contract languages and tools (Truffle, Hardhat).
  • Deep understanding of consensus mechanisms (PoW, PoS, PBFT), cryptography, and P2P architectures.
  • Experience with Git-centric workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with layer-2 scaling solutions (e.g., Rollups, Plasma) and cross-chain bridges.
  • Knowledge of zero-knowledge proofs (zk-SNARKs, zk-Rollups) and privacy-preserving protocols.
  • Active contributions to blockchain open-source communities or published research in distributed systems.
  • Understanding of EU regulatory frameworks for crypto assets (MiCA, GDPR).
  • Experience deploying and managing blockchain nodes on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Benefits & Culture Highlights

  • 100% remote position with flexible working hours across the European Union.
  • Competitive salary, equity options, and performance bonuses.
  • Professional development stipend, hackathon sponsorship, and global conference access.
