Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure, gas-optimized smart contracts on Ethereum and other EVM-compatible networks using Solidity.
  • Architect and build end-to-end blockchain solutions, including DApps, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721), and cross-chain interoperability.
  • Collaborate with product owners and security teams to perform smart contract audits, code reviews, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Integrate on-chain components with backend services via Web3.js/ethers.js, RESTful APIs, and decentralized storage (IPFS).
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of smart contracts using Truffle, Hardhat or similar frameworks.
  • Stay current on emerging blockchain protocols, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic techniques; contribute to best-practice documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on Solidity smart contract development on Ethereum or EVM-based blockchains.
  • Proficiency with Web3.js or ethers.js, Node.js, and RESTful API integration.
  • Practical experience with Truffle, Hardhat, Ganache, or Remix development frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of cryptography fundamentals (hashing, encryption, digital signatures).
  • Experience with DevOps tooling and CI/CD processes (Docker, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Preferred

  • Familiarity with permissioned blockchain platforms (Hyperledger Fabric, Corda).
  • Knowledge of decentralized storage solutions (IPFS, Arweave) and off-chain indexing.
  • Background in security auditing and formal verification tools (MythX, Slither).
  • Experience deploying blockchain applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Contributions to open-source blockchain projects or active participation in developer communities.
